Sunday 31st October

For those of you I haven't seen and don't know already, I went home to Croydon last week for a few days. It was probably just what I needed. I sorted out a few problems, picked up a few other people's (which mostly took my mind off my own), picked up my new laptop, got refreshed and chilled out for a few days.

The 9-day break actually felt more like 2 weeks, and I pretty much entirely forgot about Sweden while I was there. I attempted a few bits of work while I was home, but they were about having something to do than doing any kind of homework.

I'm now back in Sweden, preparing for the final rush before Christmas (I hope it's gonna be a rush, anyway). I have a 5-minute Swedish presentation to do for tomorrow, I need to track down a copy of "Amelie" on DVD, I need to finish 2 bits of work to send to Hull, and I need to start preparing a French essay on something relatiing to the EU... I don't even know how long it needs to be.

While I'm pretty tired from travelling and changing timezones 3 times this week, I feel like my head is clearer and I feel more purposeful than I have for some weeks. I even feel... happy. 1
