TransAcoustic Radio Bio

Birth of TransAcoustic Radio, or "How we came to be...":
Tara thought she didn't want to be in a band anymore until her friend James needed a singer for his band Everyday People. Tara sang with them for a little while, but it didn't work out. Being the ham she is, Tara preferred to be the front-woman, so she decided to jump back in as a solo artist, but then remembered she hates to play alone. After booking a solo gig at Hams, Tara called Debbie and said pitifully, "Will you come play with me?" The show was fun, and the sound was good.

Tara then booked a few shows and was joined by either Debbie, or her friend James. As luck would have it, Debbie was forming an all-girl rock band that needed a singer. Tara jumped in with both feet and thus began a crazy bunch of women called The Ragdolls.

Not wanting to give up the guitar, and still enjoying playing with James,
Tara decided to keep the side project, and give it a name. So, here we are!

TransAcoustic Radio performs with an ever-changing line-up which consists of Tara and whomever is free and willing to do a show. The one thing you can count on is that it will always be is good acoustic music, and a good time.
