Bob felt as if it was cloudy and raining in his heart. As if on cue, it started to rain.
“Louise, look up.” Bob said to her.
Louise looked at him.
“Laura’s death wasn’t your fault, and you shouldn’t blame yourself because of it. Remember, Laura is in heaven now, and God will take care of her.”
Raindrops covered Louise and Bob’s face. Louise realized that Bob actually cared about her whole situation. Her secret. Her nightmare. She knew that she could trust Bob.
She rested her head back onto Bob’s shoulder, and sighed. The situation with Laura still haunts her, but not as bad as before, when she kept the whole thing to herself.
Louise closed her eyes.
Bob looked down and Louise and smiled. He leaned down and kissed her cheek.
Louise looked up at him in surprise. Bob smiled and kissed her. Louise kissed him back, and snuggled in his arms, with the cool rain falling on them.
Natalie, Melissa, Scott, Dave and Clint watched them from next door. They smiled.
“You know, Bob has never found the right girl,” Clint said, “Until now.”
“Well, Clinton. I guess you’re the only one who hasn’t found the right girl yet.” Said Scott.
“Hey! What about Dave?” Cried Clint.
“Dave found one.” Scott said, hugging Melissa close to him.
“Who?”
“Me.” Natalie said, holding Dave’s hand.
“Oh my god!” cried Clint, covering his face with his hands.
“Louise?”
“Yes Bob?”
“I want you know that I’m always gonna be by your side. I’m gonna be with you always. I love you, Louise.”
“I love you too, Bob.” Louise said, kissing him. She knew that it’s time to move on, and she knew, that with Bob, she could do it.
