Which One?

Everyone thinks that Scott and I will go out someday, but you know what? I don’t think so. Why? That’s because I have an enormous crush on Clint, Scott’s brother. Just because Scott and I are best friends, they expect us to go out? I don’t think so. You don’t usually go out with your best friend, you know. I don’t know. I’m really blabbing. My personality is similar to Dave’s. He’s Scott and Clint’s brother. There’s also Bob, but I don’t think that he likes me. Why? Because he glares at me all the time, and I mean ALL THE TIME! Ah!
“Scott! Catch!” I called to him. He got into his ready position and caught the football.
When he threw it back, Bob got in the way and caught the ball instead! What an ass!
Ok, like I said already, Bob does not like me.
“Excuse me.” I said to Bob. “Uh Bob, excuse me.” I said more loudly. Bob didn’t budge.
“BOB!” I yelled.
Bob turned around. “What do you want?” he growled.
“Whoa!” I said, “PMS, are we?”
“I know I’m not.” He said, glaring at me.
Whoa. What’s up with him?
“Bob?” asked Dave. “What’s up with you?”
“Nothing!” he snapped, turned around and knocked me over!
“Hey!” I cried when I hit the ground. “Oww.”
“Bob!” Yelled Scott, running towards me. “Aren’t you gonna say sorry?”
“HELL NO!” Bob yelled, running into the house.
What’s his problem?
“What’s his problem?” asked Scott, helping me up.
“Something is definitely wrong with him.” Dave declared.
Just then, Clint ran out of the house. Ooh! He looks hot… as usual.
“Something is definitely wrong with Bob!” he cried.
Is there an echo in the yard or something?
“Have you noticed that we’ve been repeating what each other had said?” asked Scott.
Huh?
“Anyway, we have to find out what’s in his mind.” Clint said.
I stared at him. Look at his eyes, his hair…his lips…his…
“Yo Matthews!” Scott waved his hand in front of my face.
I jumped.
Scott grinned at me. He knows. Oh god. He wiggled his eyebrows and glanced at Clint.
I groaned. He really knows.
Dave looked from me and then Scott. “Am I missing something?”
“Not at all, Dave. Not at all.” I blushed. I pulled the ponytail holder out of my hair and shook my hair around. I just had blond streaks done in my brown hair. It looks awesome.
“Your hair is so cool.” Dave said.
What can I say?
“Thanks Dave.” I said.
“What shampoo do you use?” Dave asked.
“What kind of lame question is that?” Scott cried. “By the way, it’s Herbal Essence.” Scott’s eyes sparkled.
Dave laughed. “I guess someone asked the question before me!” He said, grinning at me.
Oh my god, Dave is so weird! I have no idea why Melissa likes him!
Clint looked at me. “Could I talk to you for a sec?”
I nodded. “Sure.”
Out of the corner of my eye, I saw Scott winked at me. Ooh.

“Um, there’s this movie theater that shows, well, all old chick flicks…um…do you want to go with me?” Clint asked shyly.
My heart soared. “Sure!”
“Well, because Dave, Bob and Scott will laugh at me if I asked them to go. They might think that I’m weird.”
That is so cute!
“What movie?” I asked.
“Uh…” Clint blushed “…Romeo and Juliet.”
“I love that movie!” I cried.
“Ok, then let’s go! Is tonight ok? At around…6?” he asked.
“Yes!”
“See you tonight then!” Clint smiled and walked back into the house, leaving me outside, looking dazed…and probably looking like an idiot too!
“Hey Matthews!” Scott jogged over to me. “What did Clint asked you?”
“To the movies…” I sighed dramatically.
Scott groaned. “Well, you better go then, it’s 4:00pm, and I know how long you take to get ready!”
I punched him playfully, gave him a hug, waved good bye to Dave, and ran next door to my house.

“I’m SIIINNNGGGINNNNGGGG in the RAIINNN!” I sang, letting the hot water splash around me.
I got out of the shower, curled my hair slightly…cool! It’s actually curling! It’s passed my shoulders a little…put a little glitter on my face, and a white eyeliner. I slipped on my baby blue dress, placed a silver necklace around my neck, a matching bracelet, matching earrings and a matching ring. Slipped on my white heels and I’m ready.
When I opened the door, a fog steam came out. My big brother Clay started to cough. He was standing by the door. Poor guy. I love him like…well, like a brother!
“Hey girl, looking good!” Clay gave me a thumbs up. He’s pretty cute I had to admit.
“Thanks big bro!” I kissed him on the cheek.
“Hey, you forgot your perfume!” he said.
“Oh! Thanks for reminding me!” I cried, and ran back in the steamy bathroom.
That’s when the doorbell rang.
“It’s Clint!” I screamed.
“Ooh! Lover boy!” Clay teased, and went to the door. He opened it, and there stood Clint, looking incredibly gorgeous, wearing black jeans, a black T-shirt, and a white dress shirt over top.
He grinned at me.
I nearly passed out.
Clay held on to me.
“Are you ok?” he asked me.
“I’m fine, Clay, thanks.”
I walked out the door. Clint held my hand as we walked slowly down the driveway and into the sidewalk. I could believe that I am going to the movies with Clint Moffatt! Ah!
