Trading Preferences

General Guidelines
  • I will supply you with all of the source information (equipment/media used, generation, etc.) that I have for anything I send to you. Please do the same for me.
  • I will notify you if I'm late sending your package. Please do the same for me.
Packaging
  • I almost always use bubble mailers and send 1st class through the Post Office.
  • I do not use fiber mailers (the kind that if you tear them open, little annoying dusty fibers come out and get everywhere). Please do not send anything to me in a fiber mailer, because the fibers can get all over CD's and tapes and this can damage the media...plus it's a pain to clean up.
  • I usually only send Priority Mail when I'm sending multiple tapes/CD's and it makes economical sense to send Priority. When I do send Priority, I most commonly use the free boxes from the Post Office.
DAT
  • I use Maxell HS-4 60m tapes and Sony DG60P 60m tapes and I like to receive the same. I will accept other brands, just ask.
  • I use 90m tapes only when absolutely necessary (if one continuous show runs longer than 2 hours). Please do the same when trading with me.
CD
  • I burn all CD's Disc-At-Once, and I expect ALL discs I receive to be DAO as well.
  • I use various good-quality brands of CD-R media including Fuji, TDK, Kodak, Mitsui, etc. Please do not send me any cheap, low-quality coasters.
  • I NEVER send discs in jewel cases. It's a waste of postage, and it's a waste of good plastic. They almost always end up cracked and broken in transit.
  • I ALWAYS send discs in some kind of CD sleeve and/or protective paper/plastic wrapping. Please do the same when trading with me.
Analog Cassettes
  • I do not make analog copies of anything for anyone at anytime. I don't even own a decent tape deck. However, on very rare occasions, I will accept analog tapes in a trade if it's the lowest generation I can find and it is something I really really really really really really really really want.
