KoRn started when the band LAPD and the singer from Sexart merged. Brian and Fieldy are the true base of Korn.  From there they added Munky, then David, then Jonathan.  Munky and Brian were in a bar when they heard Jon sing for the first time.  They called him, he tried out, and before the first song was over they knew they found the right guy. They recorded an album, which was self-titled, and went on tour relentlessly. After building up their fan base in the local area they went into the studio and recorded their 2nd album:  Life is Peachy. After a long, hard, tour they went into the studio for a 3rd time to record what would become their breakthrough album:  Follow the Leader.  It debuted at #1 and got SHITLOADS of airplay. They toured *again* and went into the studio to record their 4th album:  Issues.  The album came out November 16th and it's bad ass.  Of course, they're touring.  The band is currently recording their newest album which is scheduled to be released in February of 2002.
