The last of the 2003 songs (we think) are up. Also, just a note
to clarify that we don't necessarily update the "News" section every
time we update the site (we are a forgetful folk).
January 12, 2004
It's Internet-official: Park Avery's Dethal Richter is writing
the story and plot for a new, so-far-untitled musical. In the meantime, Park
Avery has not broken up, and they continue to rock out on a regular
basis. Stay tuned.
July 6, 2003:
Due to the ever-changing nature of the band, certain changes have been made to this site.
Firstly, now only the relevant Park Avery song catalogue is online for public
viewing. Additionally, all photos and interviews have been temporarily removed.
They will be replaced soon. In other news, the band is currently selecting songs
that might appear on their new album, which is as yet untitled.
March 1, 2003:
As this site is forever
a work in progress, we bring you this: unless we're stupid and accidentally left
something out, the entire Park Avery song catalogue is now online and ready to
go, including obscure stuff. We'll try to add all the lyrics, tabs, links, etc.,
as quickly as we can. But before you take it as the gospel, please remember that
ASAP can also mean "as slow as possible." Go ahead, tell your boss
that too while you're at it. But don't blame us if your lazy ass doesn't have a
job on Monday.
February 26, 2001:
What the hell?! No updates for almost a year?! Well, this
version of the Park Avery website has sat on *D*'s hard drive for a year, and
now it's going up live on the web (finally!). Most of the info is up, however,
because typing lyrics is really monotonous and tedious, it may take a while to
get the entire Park Avery song catalogue on the web (there's 60+ songs in
existence, we think). As for other news, Park Avery is currently doing
pre-production for their debut album, tentatively titled "Older, Younger,
Middle-Aged." We'll have more information for you as it becomes available.
March 17, 2000:
Okay, finally the site
has some content. We've added a contest, some bios, and basically almost
everything on the site is operational. We've even started to rebuild the
lyric/tab/interpretation archive. You should also know that we really are crazy
(almost).
March 11, 2000:
We've finally got most of the sections up and looking halfway
decent. Of course, there's barely any real information on the site (just fancy
new banners and a new colour scheme), but keep your eyes peeled for some real
content soon.
March 8,
2000:
We continue to work our asses off to
get this homepage back on its feet. Biographies of Albert and
Dethal are now up,
and we're dreading having to type all the lyrics, interpretations, and tabs all
over again.
March 7,
2000:
Today we had to make a brand new homepage from
scratch because our hard drive got formatted before we remembered that we
had saved the page on C:, not N:. Long story short: we lost everything, so we're
starting over with a brand new look. We'll try to have most of the information
back up in the next couple of days.
