Vending Machine Records was founded in 1995 in Indianapolis, Indiana. VMR was formed to produce Gimp's first album Four Guys With a Dream.... VMR is currently working with the alternative rock quintet ADDA. You can find ADDA's mp3 files on ADDA Central. These files are free for download. Kobeir Kobeir is a completely hypothetical situation. The band members are real enough, but they never actually got past the point of naming the band. Here at Kobeir.kom you can read about what might have happened had the band actually done anything.

Gimp Gimp was the first band to appear on the VMR label. The trio recorded its first and only album Four Guys With A Dream in the bathroom of a college dorm. They developed a small following in the U.S., but their second single I Just Need My Space became a huge hit in Belgium and propelled the group to international fame.
