WELCOME!! TO THE HOME OF THE KOREAN SKATEBOARDING SCENE!!

Hey wassup everyone, My name is Soomin, welcome to my page.... As many of you probably know, the skate scene in Korea is not as big as The States, Brazil, Japan, or many other countries..  The skate scene was very big in the 80s, but the popularity slowly died down into the 90's. However, here in this site, you will see the people who still do skate in the country.... check it out...

There aren't many famous Korean skaters, the only two skaters that come up in my mind are DAEWON SONG and GIDEN CHOI. I guess i shouldn't call them Koreans since they lived in the states practicully their whole life, but both of them do have a litlle bit of Korean blood in them. DAEWON SONG is one of the best technical skaters out there. check his stuff out in the video "RODNEY MULLEN VS DAEWON SONG" I saw both round 1 and 2 videos. They are f**in nuts!!! GIDEN CHOI is featured in the round 2 video.. He rips!! I haven't seen much of him in videos or magazines though... He dosen't show his face much, He has a pro deck out from Blind. I'm sure he'll be up in the ads for magazines or feature in more videos soon, cause he's got the talent. Watch out for both these skaters in the near future.
