SPACING IMAGES

Master-Duncs Master-Duncs

On this page we will be learning to space your GIFS and JPGS as well as spacing lines, bars and text.

Have you ever had images too close together?

Well, let`s fix that problem right now!!!

One of the most common problems people have is after putting an IMAGE on their page they put a marquee under it like this.

HAVE A NICE DAY

Sometimes the marquee is too close to the image.
Try putting this tag <br> in your codes between the image and the marquee code to move the marquee down a line below your IMAGE.
Here is an example:

<center>
<img src="http://geocities.datacellar.net/SunsetStrip/Garage/6005/duncs_dream.jpg" height=250 width=225>
<font size="+3"><font color="red">
<br>
<marquee>
HAVE A NICE DAY
</marquee>

HAVE A NICE DAY

See, how it`s moved one line lower?

Sometimes you will need to move an IMAGE more than one line. To move Down 2 lines use this tag instead of the <br>tag.

<p>

If you need to move multiple spaces use them together like this.

<p>
<br>
<p>
<br>

One thing to remember is when using the <p> tag more than 1 time you must put the <br> tag in between it or it won`t work.

Now for using these tags to align text.
The <br> starts a new sentence on the next line.

To start a new paragraph use the <p>. It will move your text 2 lines down.

I know this sounds confusing, but if you will practice with these tags a little, you will have learned how to space your GIFS & JPGS, as well as text and give you the perfect E-mail or Homepage.
