My ego calmed down a bit

I still don't know

What has been your biggest achievement of 1998?
I couldn't say. Juggling my occupations.

Which gig have you enjoyed the most?
V-twin supporting Teenage Fanclub.
A pleasant combination of sounds.

Did you like America?
I like America very much. I liked the American tour as well. I like Americans because they are open and friendly, but you could spend a long time wondering what they are really up to.

How does the American fans compare to the English fans?
I love English fans. I love the boys who write letters but when you see them in the flesh they are gentle and stand offish.
There are a lot of very cool American fans, we don't get to meet them much because they are cool.
We get the frantic puppies who want to eat you! The crazies!

Which B&S song are you most proud of?
The one i didn't write because that's the point of the fucking band, though some people don't realise it.

Which bands do you like to listen to?
Television, Camera Obscura, The Smiths, I think George Michael is pretty good, Hall and Oates.

What are you reading at the moment?
The Old Testament of the Bible. Honest.

Are you going to release any new material before the end of the year?
End of which year? Sorry it's 1999 now because i'm a lazy shite.

Do you have a message for the fans?
I'll cut your hair for free.

Is there anything else you would like to say?
Have you seen 'Clerks' I keep watching that film because it's great. Also i must say i feel sorry for anyone who has never played a really good game of football.
