Who am I??

My name is Karen Zelonis, I live in Fairfax, Virginia in the U.S., just about 30 minutes away from Washington, D.C. I work for the County of Fairfax as a Systems Programmer for the Department of Information Technology.  I'm one of a dying breed of mainframe people, fighting hard to stay away from servers, but losing the battle.

Do I know Chris Thompson??

Unfortunately, not really, I've never met him.   He did telephone me once though!   :-)  I've only seen him in concert once, with Alan Parsons years ago in Maryland.   I've been suffering withdrawal ever since.

My music interests??

Obviously I love Chris Thompson! My other favorites  are David Bowie, Donovan and the Grateful Dead.  

I also listen to classical, jazz, and opera. (Basically everything!)

Pets??   Hobbies??

I love my 3 Australian Shepherds, Benny, Lucy & Ziggy, they're the best dogs in the world!  I also have 6 Fish tanks!  Most of my time is taken up with dog agility and fish keeping.  Two seriously addicting hobbies! 

Other stuff I like??

I'm a Mac Addict.  I have a MacBook Pro, a couple of iPods for all of my music, pictures and movies, and an iPhone!  (How did I ever live without an iPhone??)  I also have a Power Mac G3 BLUE tower, a Newton 100, and 2 Macintosh SEs for decorations! ;-)
