Hello, and welcome to my house.
Let the sweet sound of the blues be your guide as you learn a little about me.
My name is Shannon, and I am 45 years young! I was born in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, and grew up in the small northern Alberta
town of Whitecourt. Since 1981 I have been living in Southern Alberta.
I am very happily married to a man that I know God hand picked just for me. We met in a chat room way back in Sept/98 and even though it was an uphill battle till he finally made me realize I couldn't live without him, I am so happy that I started listening to him. I have two beautiful daughters, Teisha, 23 years old and Ashley, 19 years old. I also have a beautiful 25yr old step-daughter and I love them all very much. My family and friends, both online and in real time are a true joy to me as well.
I love all animals,
and I'm a real dog person. I had a 17 year old Border Collie Black Lab,
named Budweiser, whom I loved dearly. Sadly, I lost him some time ago. My
consolation is that I was with him to the very end. He will be sadly missed.
We have two cats. Half brothers just over a year apart and they do make our home interesting!
I work full time for a local credit union in Credit Administration. I enjoy it very much and love meeting all kinds of people from all walks of life.
My interests include the love of music, especially blues and rock. I am a huge Colin James fan and get to as many live shows as I possibly can. Support great HOME GROWN CANADIAN TALENT .. check out BOBBY CAMERON. This man is AMAZING!
After being introduced to Shakespear during my high school years, I have fallen in love with his works. I have also been a strong supporter of our local Diabetes Association devoting my time to various committees as well as the Board of Directors (currently serving as President of the Board of Directors). I find joy in working many volunteer hours when needed. I am also an avid figure skating fan.

I met you many years ago Billy but it still feels like yesterday. You became such a cherished part of my life and a very dear friend. You were taken from this earth far too sudden and those of us who knew you and loved you, will miss your wonderful sense of humor and your true loving heart. I will never forget you Billy! |
I would like to sincerely thank Standing
Moose (AKA: Bruce) for all his help with my homepage. Meeting you Bruce
has taught me a wonderful, valuable lesson about the beauty of the human
spirit. The good Lord truely has smiled down on you!
