Peabody

The following cases were recorded Monday, Nov. 22 in Peabody District Court, with Judge Santo J. Ruma presiding.

  • Edwin Pena, 26, 234 Broadway, Lynn; failure to stop or yield, found responsible, filed; driving without a license, found guilty, fined $50 plus $35 for the Victim/Witness Assistance Fund (Peabody complaint, Nov. 22).

  • Rudy A. Vasquez, 18, 72 Grove St., Salem; driving without a license, found guilty, fined $50 plus $35 for the Victim/Witness Assistance Fund; lights violation, found responsible, filed (Peabody complaint, Nov. 22).

  • Victorino Mendez, 18, 11 Bayview Ave., Lynn; tailgating, found responsible, filed; driving without a license, found guilty, fined $50 plus $35 for the Victim/Witness Assistance Fund (Peabody complaint, Nov. 19).

  • Eric R. Need, 28, 1 King St., Peabody or 147 Ipswich Road, Topsfield; driving after license revocation, found guilty, sentenced to six months in the house of correction (suspended) and one year's probation, assessed $35 for the Victim/Witness Assistance Fund; attaching plates, driving an uninsured vehicle, found guilty on both counts, both counts filed; driving an unregistered vehicle, found responsible, filed (Peabody complaint, Feb. 10, 1997); shoplifting, found guilty, fined $100 plus $35 for the Victim/Witness Assistance Fund (Peabody complaint, Nov. 2, 1998).

  • Anthony Hernandez, 18, 91 Tremont St., Salem; assault and battery, malicious destruction of property valued at more than $250, both counts continued without finding for one year, ordered to pay $900 restitution, $35 for the Victim/Witness Assistance Fund (Peabody complaint, Sept. 27).

    The following cases were recorded Monday, Nov. 22, in Salem District Court, with Judge Dennis Healey and Judge Robert Cornetta presiding.

  • Scott W. Caldwell, 29, 555 Ashbury St., San Francisco, Calif.; leaving the scene of a property damage accident, found guilty, fined $250 plus $35 for the Victim/Witness Assistance Fund (Danvers complaint, March, 1997).

  • Timothy H. Carr, 35, 1985 Greentree Road, Cherry Hill, N.J.; speeding, found responsible, assessed $50; driving without a license, continued generally for three months, assessed $100 (Manchester-by-the-Sea complaint, Nov. 22).

  • Jean S. Houston, 25, 21 Green St., Salem; driving after suspension of registration, dismissed, assessed $35 for the Victim/Witness Assistance Fund (Manchester-by-the-Sea complaint, Oct. 27).

  • Peter J. O'Keefe, 24, 36 Centre St., Danvers; driving after license suspension, filed without finding; driving an uninspected vehicle, found responsible, assessed $50 (Danvers complaint, Nov. 22).

  • David Zwirn, 33, 7 Crombie St., Salem; trespassing, continued generally for three months (Salem complaint, Nov. 22).

  • Brian Quinn, 19, 22 Brook St., Scituate; speeding, found responsible, filed; driving after license suspension, dismissed (Manchester-by-the-Sea complaint, Oct. 27).

  • Juan Ortiz, 39, 41-43 Ward St., Salem; improper passing, found responsible, filed; driving after license suspension, dismissed, assessed $100 (Salem complaint, April 2).

  • Daniel F. Curran III, 43, 15 Alden St., Danvers; lights violation (two counts), found not responsible on both counts; driving after license suspension, dismissed, assessed $100 (Danvers complaint, Nov. 8).

  • Kutim Sheraj, 31, 67 Wallace St., Beverly; larceny of property valued at more than $250, continued generally for six months, assessed $200 (Danvers complaint, Nov. 8).

  • Harold Roy Osborne, 40, 209 North St., Salem; violation of domestic restraining order, threatening to commit a crime, both counts dismissed without prejudice for lack of prosecution (Beverly complaint, Oct. 20, 1995).

  • Bruce G. Scott, 38, 2 Hillcrest Ave., Peabody; driving after license suspension, found guilty, sentenced to 60 days in the house of correction (suspended) and one year's probation (Salem complaint, Oct. 5).

  • Robert Morris, 35, 108 Hanover St., Lynn; failure to return leased property, dismissed, ordered to pay $172 restitution (Salem complaint, July 14).

  • Nancy E. Kelly, 35, 55 Holten St., Peabody; larceny by check, dismissed (civilian complaint, July 15, 1997).

  • Carlos A. Medeiros, 22, 14 Summer St., Peabody; driving after license suspension, driving after suspension of registration, driving an uninsured vehicle, all counts continued without finding for six months, assessed $300 costs plus $60 for the Victim/Witness Assistance Fund (Danvers complaint, Nov. 22).

  • Joseph Simpson, 43, 184 Hale St., Beverly; leaving the scene of a property damage accident, continued without finding for one year, assessed $100 plus $35 for the Victim/Witness Assistance Fund (Beverly complaint, July 20).

  • Michael J. Meagher, 34, 154 North St., Salem; domestic assault and battery, dismissed for lack of prosecution (Salem complaint, May 10); lewd and lascivious behavior, dismissed, assessed $50 (Salem complaint, Sept. 7).

  • Paul Mazurkiewicz, 38, 33 Suffolk Ave., Swampscott; drunken driving, dismissed, assessed $200 costs (Salem complaint, Dec. 14, 1998).
