This site was started by the SunsetStrip
Community Leaders at the end of 1998, after a while Community Leaders from
other neighborhoods started to participate also - TelevisionCity, Nashville,
Vienna, and Pipeline. Now anyone who has a site in Geocities is invited
to join in. If your interested please sign up by clicking on "Sign
Up" in the left menu.

Are you in an Unsigned Band or are
you an Unsiged Artist? Do you want more publicity for your band?
Or do you just like to be the first to hear new music? If so, visit
Beyond 2000 which will feature new music, if you are in a band or are an
artist who wants to promote your music you can sign up to be a part of
this page.

Please feel free to visit as many
sections of this page as you would like, in every section you will find
interesting information about music from that time. We also have
sections on television (starting in the 1930s) and Movies (starting in
the 1940s

Don't forget to visit the credits
section in each time period to see the name of people who worked on those
sections, remember if you want to help your name will appear in on of those
sections also. You can also find out how to become a Community Leader
by clicking on "Become a CL" from any page on this site. This will
take you to links to every Geocities neighborhoods Community Leader application
or information on how to become a Community Leader in that neighborhood.

The Pipeline Community Leader created
this great Jukebox as part of the Millennium of Music, they will be adding
a lot more information and songs to it during the year so please make sure
to visit them.
