My first concert that I went to by myself. It's not that I'm a little kid or nothing, it's just more fun to go with friends. Anyway, Mike Perdias was pretty cool. Bjork spoke over the PA and introduced him. He was this dj, who was pretty good, too bad the audience didn't dig him too much.
Then Bjork came on. Actually, her dj played this intro and she came during that. She was dressed in this white Wonder Woman outfit with wings. Only jork can get away with stuff like that. She then dedicated the first song to her friend who makes mix tapes. I have no idea what this song was, but it was pretty cool.
Bjork rocked through 17 songs clocking in around a hour and a half. She blew my mind. It was the first time that I had seen her in concert. (Actually, I saw her once before. It was at a signing in Tower Records in NYC. People cut the line, so I never got her autograph, but I did see her. I got about twenty feet from her. She's so awesome. She had this cool red dress. Anyway...) She played stuff from all three albums. The crowd went crazy when she played, "Pluto." The whole place was moving. I really dug the version of Violent Happy she did. the went into this instrumental interlude and it rocks.
And I'm proud that I managed to see this show in the middle of finals and I did well! Also, in case anyone is interested, I saw that Bjork's soundman recorded the show on DAT. Hopefully she is planning a live album or something. (Update: she did release a live album/video thingy but not of this show, it was somewhere in london)
