We got to the Lost Horizon a little early in fear that it will be soldout like all of the other shows lately (Less Than Jake -both of them, MXPX, Melvins). So we sat around while this really shitty band played. Ashley starts bobbing her head. I say, "Cut that out! They suck!" So we talked and ignored the band. I stole an H2O poster from the wall and put it in my car.
Finally, Saves The Day came to the rescue. They jumped on and lauched into their set. They were great as usual, even though they looked so tired. It was the last date of their tour. I think that the with all the crap they've gone through (a van accident) that they need a break.
The lights went out and the crowd stood in darkness. Then the theme for 'mission impossible' came on at the same time the H2O logo came down out of nowhere in the background. As soon as the song ended the band slammed into 'faster than the world.' The band put on a very intense show. I was up front again. I was trying to keep Ashley from getting squished by this very large guy.
