Next up was Edna's Goldfish:
And least but not least, The Pilfers:
Don't knew the exact setlist but, the second song was 'Legal Shot Pom Pom' and the third song was 'Jolly jolly jolly' and the second to last song was 'Dr. Kervokian.' What they did play in no particular order was: Yakuza, Generation, Show No Fear, Climbing and I don't remember what else... roughly about a hour.
Entourage: Bill, Anthony
The first date of the New Movement Tour. It was pretty cool. If anyone was on before Metro Stylee, we missed them, it took us driving 1 1/2 hours to get to this show. Anthony and Bill took thirty seconds to convince me to go to this show. Thank goodness they got me to come to my senses. Of course it was a great show. Seeing Metro Stylee for the second time. And of course all eyes were Jane and Trisha, the sax and lead singer on Metro Stylee (respectfully). A sweet band cranking out some very cool music.
Next up was Edna's Goldfish. A Long Island ska band. (Aren't all ska bands from Long Island? -that's a joke...) Not as a cool as Metrostylee or the Pilfers but really good.
And of course, the MIGHTY Pilfers from NYC. Their set wasn't as action packed as the night before, but they again there were only 20 people at this show as opposed to the 150-200 the night before. The band was more mellowed out. Coolie's voice was great, he sang a bunch of softer songs. He was kinda pissed about the one light on stage and it just happened to be pointing on him, so they moved it. I guess that set part of the mood for the mellowness of the show, cause the band was basically playing in the dark.
