Opening act: Catch 22, Weston, Edna's Goldfish
Entourage: Bill, Sarah H., Regina

The Pilfers record release party that we almost didn't get into. We left Cortland at like 6:30am to drive to NYC. We get down to the city and then go to Penn Station to pick up Regina. From there, we drive straight to Wetlands. We grab a bite to eat and then wait on line.
Then we heard that the show was soldout and we weren't going to get in. I gave Regina all my money and said find some one in the band and explain that we just drove forever to get to the show. She talked to Anna and she said that she would get us in along with some people from Massechuetts.
We went in during the middle of Weston's set. The were playing "Wave of Mutilalition" the UK version by the Pixies. It sounded really cool. They played a couple more songs. I love Weston, I wish that we hadn't missed the beginning of their set. Then Edna's Goldfish came out. they played all their usual songs.
I guess I should explain how crowd the show was. It was beyond packed. There were way too many people there. When the Pilfers played the first song, these morons decided to get a circle going. There wasn't enough for everyone there and these kids decide they want a circle. The Pilfers were having the show filmed for a "Climbing" video and possibly a full length video so this made the crowd even more nuts. The Pilfers played so well, they were so into this show. The crowd knew every part of every song, so the crowd participation was awesome. By the end of the show those kids in the circle were pissing me off so I just starting swinging and pushing. I'm not usually a dick like that but it was just too much on their part. I gave Coolie Ranx a Ford work shirt and the end of the show. He liked my shirt I wore at the Pietasters/Pilfers show, so I promised him one. After that we contemplated going to a Mephiskapheles show in Moosic, PA but we were too beat. A very intense show. 1
