It was Weston Time! I've been dying to see them again since I missed most of their set at the Pilfers record release party. The opening bands sucked really bad, the only redeeming quality was the club was showing Bettie Page strip tease films behind the bands. If I ever start a band, that's going to be part of our stage setup. Anyway. Weston came up on stage. One guy, two guys, three guys, four guys, five guys?, six guys ?!? The band added two new members. I got really nervous. I'm started to think that this might not be that cool. They now had a keyboardist and an additional guitarist. When the band came smashing down on that first chord, They assured me that this change in lineup was for the better. The band sonically sounded large. They filled the club out nicely. Also surprisely the entire set was comprised of songs off of a new unreleased album. A ballsy move for a band to pull. All of the new songs were super. I can't wait for the new album.
