FUGAZI - "End Hits" Hmm, yeah, well. What the hell do I NEED to say about this? It's got 13 songs, it's on cool gray marble vinyl. And it's fucking fugazi! Oh yeah, awesome layout too, done with the assitance of Jem Cohen. Likem teh cardboard sleeve folds out like a book to this huge black and white live photo that's VERY Fugazi. And Glen E Friedman is responsible for the insert. So all that taken into account, this could be said to be the quintessential Fugazi release. And I'm not even talking about the music here. You can't reall, I mean, every album this band has done is totally different, but it's still so definitely a fugazi album. I mean fuck, 13 songs, repeater, kill taker, steady diet, red medicine, the brilliant instrument film. Every thing this band has done is amazing. And end hits is no exception What's the point of even doing this review really? If you're into this band, you know they deliver the goods. If you're not, this is actually quite a good place to start, as it's kind of their 'guitar' record. Hey, even the paper record sleeve has little plastic bits to protect the holes. Dischord kids, you know they care. |
