Relationships
How do we define “forever”?

Love can be anything we imply it to be. We write it in our poetry, music and diaries. We see it everywhere. Feel it. Maybe touch it. I see people get together with their partners and assume that it’s gonna be forever and yet sometimes we end up despising each other and end up saying that forever had been and gone. How long it is? A month? A week?
Half the time I don’t do relationships because I sometimes end up thinking or beginning with the end in mind. That can be a good habit but not in this way. Forever feels like an overwhelming word to me, I could be afraid that I might end up feeling trapped into something and not feeling as free. The thought of getting hurt in the end would somehow feel tragic. In The relationship world some of us may see that forever is a versatile sort of word and that we all know that forever doesn’t have a limit. But it’s all about how we feel about our partners sexually and emotionally, However I think that we should use a different word rather than “forever”, a word with a better meaning, maybe a word that could be more suitable. A word that doesn’t feel too vast when relationships get short. I wouldn’t even be using a word that defines forever – “till death do us part” – “for all eternity”…. Lame. Forever feels like a dirty word but without the sex scenes. I guess I’m only saying that because I feel that love sometimes stinks! I could probably babble on and on about “forever” in relationships if I had the inspiration. If any lover could change that about me I would let them. So I guess what I’m trying to say is that we can define “forever” in relationships is so many ways especially in our writing. I’m not saying that relationships are all bad :O)
