I look around and there are a lot of punk bands who have male vocals. But there are a lot of punk bands with female vocals who don’t seem to get known enough. Now I I’m not being sexist here or there. But shouldn’t ALL be bands be known? Anyways…. Each band is unique in their own typical way but the vocals in this band project. This means that even the listeners in the back can hear. The lyrics are Emo, clear and are persuaded in the way the particular song is sung – It’s told the way it is. The words are well timed in the music and done differently like no one can expect. The recording isn’t very professional and they flawed that very well. It sounds like it was recorded in a small typical home lounge room with people watching on comfy couches and holding stubby’s in hands, not only enjoying the band but each other’s presence. The guitars are very obvious and are played equal to each other, even when the lead guitar takes place over the other riff. In some parts the guitars are kinda clean and strong. It gives evidence that there is a little bit of metal/rock inspired work in there. The bassist is very good. She collaborates with the others quite well and sometimes she gets her solos. The drummer wouldn’t be a a good drummer without being able to master difficult beats. Check em out on myspace or you’ll be as ignorant as I am! http://www.myspace.com/elijah1 |
