What you Missed Who the F*** are you?:Out Of Hatred Where the hell are you?: Maryland, United States What type of music?: Metal / Hardcore / Grindcore Band Members: · Heath Skrabak- Vox · Cody Hartle- Guitars · Damon Martin- Guitars · Joey Chaney- Drums · Greg Shilling- Bass With barking vocals. Guitars that make sense and so called “phat” bass. I would recommend this band to anyone who is open and doesn’t mind vocals where you can’t understand a word the lead singer is singing. Some bands can get away with music like this and this band isn’t all bad, in fact it looks like they are going pretty well for themselves. I don’t really see anything unique in this band and there doesn’t seem to be a lot of variety in the music. The guitarist sounds really awesome and seems to have some really good ideas. If these guys get produced they would need to do more with the vocals. I really like the drummer, he has some brilliant ideas too. I’m not too sure about the bassist – he could sure used some variety too and maybe more distortion. Maybe I should keep an eye on these guys because they could only get better! I give them 3 out of 5 musical notes Please show them some love and check em out! http://www.myspace.com/outofhatred Requested by: the band Who the F*** are you? Xistance Where the hell are you? Docklands, Melbourne, Australia What type of music?: Progressive elctro rock Band Members: Chris*tine – vocals Dave – Guitar DeAN – Bass WadE S - drums, keyboards, & the rest.. Wow, the music these guys do remind me so much of moby. It’s like there’s a type of genre legacy there! However the recording of their stuff needs to be done more professional. I love the variety of the vocals. But the female vocals kinda don’t suit the type of music. Don’t get me wrong, this chick can SING! It also sounds like they have gotten out of a comfort zone and have decided to explore different threads of sounds/music. But I think the way it was sorta recorded was a bit of an insult. It would be great if they had real equiptment for the drummer…or at least it doesn’t sounds like drums (no offence indeed!) the guitars are a bit too drowned out and that often doesn’t look good for doing solos. I can really appreciate what they have done and if I could get you into bands like Icon crash you’d fully love the sultry works of Heart of Xistance. By the way Dave is a great guitarist!! 5 musical notes out of 5! So by this time I assume you’d want to check this out! www.myspace.com/heartofxistance |
