| The “Braskey” Factor
Genre: Rock / Punk / Band members: Tim Hennessy (Guitar) Joe Leahy (Vocals) Chris Dameron (Drums) Cody LaCrue (Guitar) Alvie Gonzalez (Bass) Pronounced as BRASS-KEY. Their music is very all over-the-place but when I mean all over-the-place I mean it in a very good way. The vocals (joe) are tough ,raw and the usage of screaming are limited yet very unique, controlled and in some parts relaxed. The guitars (Cody and Tim) are kinda loud but don’t take over all of the other instruments, Their wide range of guitar riffs make the song interesting and keep the music sounding full so that there are no boring gaps in between chorus and versus. The Drummer (Chris) uses a nice high contrast between the drum kick and the cymbals. Out of it all the music is well produced and could go a long way. Each band member gets their own little solo part as well as the bass (Alvie) do (he’s also pretty good too). This way the listener can hear how good each band member is. That’s always important.
