always

for HR/HM traders!

Live concerts are big fun. It's been a quite sometime since Japanese promoters started booking many tours of minor acts at smaller clubs around Tokyo, which is totally unbelievable for a bit older fans like me, for whom Bootlegs had been the only chances to experience performances by legendary local heroes.

Bootlegs... what a tempting word... Nishi-Shinjuku... Sanctuary for all collecting rare unofficial stuff... But can you imagine how many times I got disappointed and cried at home listening to vinyls sounding like...shit..., which I spent quite a big money on? Too noisy audience(they are not to blame, of course), unstable sound, terrible edits in the middle of songs, wrong vinyls in the sleeves(aaaarrrrgggghhhh!), etc, etc... What the hell is the ad "New and better tape found!"(but sounds the same or even worse)? Why can complete master tapes be found several months after the release of incomplete editions so often?? Why are the limited copies available forever(even at a bargain)???? Why can't I stop buying them?????

Well, enuff said. My priority no longer goes to buying bootlegs. My intention is quite simple... trade.

Because of incredible progress of technologies, it's got so easy to contact collectors all over the world through internet. In addition, sound qualities of recording sources' got much better than they used to be and can be easily copied digitally onto any media like DAT, MD, CD-R.

Ain't it better for us to contact each other, talking about favorite bands, and to trade whatever we like than spending 30 bucks on a crap???

An important note

Due to very very limited time available for trades in my free time at the moment, I don't think all e-mails will be answered unless your collection gets me, sorry. . . . .
