BAND HISTORY
The Blues Drivers was started in April of 1999, and has played
numerous shows throughout Eastern Washington in bars, clubs, and
outdoor festivals. Aaron and Abe have been freinds since early
childhood and met the rest of the following line up soon
after. The band started off with Dan, abe, and Aaron jamming in
basements and garages since 1997. The members officailly
considered themselves a band in the summer of '99. This line up
included Aaron on guitar, Dan on bass, and Abe on drums untill
April of 2000 when the Band recruited Phil Bruni from Crucifict,
a hardcore christian band which Dan was previously a member
also. the new line up featured Abe on Congas instead of drums,
and Phil on drums. With this new addition, the Band formally
adopted it's name Aaron Richner and the Blues Drivers. Since
then, the band has gone on to win three Battle of the Bands
compititions, played in two major Blues Festivals, and played in
numerous bars, clubs, radio stations, movie stores, and outdoor
concerts.
