Chapter 5: The Underwear Parade

"Who's your new friend Zac?" Tay asked as soon as Alanis and Zac entered the house. Tay had seen them holding hands earlier. "Is she a new girlfriend of yours Zac?" he asked. The girl didn't look at Tay's face for a while. She kept her eyes on Zac.
'Girlfriend? He must be kidding Zac.'
'No actually he isn't'
'Ugh, are we gonna be pestered by him the whole time?'
'No. I have a plan.'
For the rest of the evening (well for about the next twenty minutes) they all played Monopoly, Tay lost every time. "MUHAHAHAHA! YOU GO TO JAIL! NO BAIL!" Zac laughed. Taylor frowned then in a small fit of rage he threw his pieces to the floor and walked out of the room. "Hey! Stop! You didn't get to totally lose yet!" Zac laughed at Taylor. Alanis kept her eyes to the ground. She didn't want to see Taylor. She was afraid that he was the person from her dream.

Later Zac and Alanis were in Zac's bedroom and they were laughing while Zac told the story about Isaac and being locked in the shed. Alanis was laughing so hard tears ran down her face. "Hey I have an idea!" Zac exclaimed when the story was over.
"What is it?"
"Let's run around in my brother's underwear for no reason singing 'MMMBop'!" Zac said running for Taylor's closet. Alanis jumped up and followed. "Here," Zac said handing Alanis some boxers "put those on your head. Those are his silk black boxers. Hehe!" Alanis laughed and pulled the underwear over her head. Zac kept throwing out clothes and it soon turned into not just underwear being worn.

"MMMBop! Ba do ba dop! Ba do ba dop! Ba dooo! Yeeeeah yeah! Plant a seed! Plant a flower! Plant a rose! You can plant anyone of those!" Taylor heard Alanis and Zac screaming at the top of their lungs. He returned to his mother's assignment of reading the third chapter of 'The Hobbit' shaking his head until the two were in full view. At first glimpse he thought he had gone bonkers after blinking twice he realized it was real. He was in so much shock he couldn't even stop them before they were out the front door. Lucky Taylor it was Hanson day, he heard the cameras flashing and saw his little brother posing for the camera and offering his underwear to the crowd. After the crowd started offering money he jumped over the couch and ran like greased lightning to the front door. When he got there his cheeks turned red as he saw what Alanis was wearing on her head. He grabbed both teens inside and slammed the door shut. "Zac! EVER, EVER, EVER DO THA-" Taylor was cut off when he saw Zac's puppy eyes. 'Sucker' he thought and then grinned at Zac. "Just give me the damn under wear," he said.

After the kids were stripped of Taylor's tighty whities Zac gave a goofy grin.

'Ike next?'

Alanis looked at him and nodded. They both ran over each other as they scrambled up the stairs.

Minutes later they were belting out 'Man From Milwaukee' while being chased by Isaac. Leaving Ike behind to deal with a toy train to the foot the two ran to the door, stripped as fast as they could then ran up a tree and hid out.
"Zac," Alanis said looking up.
"What?"
"I think it's going to rain"
Zac looked up and Alanis pointed to the black and rumbling sky. "Well, better sleep in the treehouse tonight. Ike will poison our food if we go inside."
With that they crawled in the treehouse and almost immediately fell asleep.
