POLICE BRUTALITY

nothing but a different face
is why they sprayed me with the mace
i went to court to plead my case
they thought my mind was out in space
pain runs through my mind
justice unable to find
cops hate all of my kind
ones that are not blind
so now they know my face
how i walk and how i talk
they watch me everywhere i go
peace of mind i cannot have
at my home
they sit outside
on the road
they follow behind
they all hate me
for defending myself

i was driving down the road
a cop pulled me over
told me i was speeding
i told him i was five under
he punched me in the face
tore me out my car
threw me to the ground
and beat me with the club
my bones did snap
upon the 20th hit
he spit upon face
as i lay in pool of blood
warm pool of blood
threatened my life
if i told a single soul
ran back to his car
hopped in and sped away
as blood poured down my face
