This Page is for your enjoyment and to better my stature as
an
American of Polish decent.
I have finally accessed this site in order to change some of it. It
only took me 2 years because apparently someone other than me drifts in
(thank you!). I'll try to update this some more before the semester
ends, but I can make no promises because I have absolutely no
programming skills. However, I am taking a Java course now that is
using up precious brainpower trying to understand a programming
language that makes absolutley no sense to me. Possibly I will be able
to drum up an applet or some other lame pop-up do-hicky to prove that I
at least attended the classes and labs.
But I would like to take another moment out to explain that this site is
for my college requirement (oh so many years ago), and I have very little
experience in actually
writing code so it
is not going to be great, but please have fun nonetheless!
A little about myself: I'm currently 21 years old, a student at the State University of New York at Buffalo and
double majoring in Urban and Regional Analysis (AKA City Planning) and
Urban and Public Policy Studies (also City Planning). The first one deals
with planning using mapping and such (AKA spatial analysis-another
buzzword that I hate) while the latter deals with planning taking into
account racial problems, gender differences, public policy formulation and
the like: in other words using planning o solve society's ills. I live in
the City of Buffalo, a great little big city that
has stumbled on hard times these past 5 decades, but that's where I will
come in. Nothing like lifetime employment. Don't let the depressed state
of the City scare you: it has some of the best architecture present for an
American City, plus it sure beats out the crap that passes for suburban
architecture. I'm also an Assistant Scoutmaster with Boy Scout Troop 5
(where I earned my Eagle rank in 1998) and am active in St. Margaret's
Holy Name Society. I'm not the best Catholic, or a very good one, but I
do enjoy helping out when and where I can. I also have become a member of
an alternative transportation advocacy group in Buffalo and a committee
member on the Transportation subcommittee in the Buffalo Good Neighbors
Planning Alliance in both the transportation and business subcommittees.
Here are some of the things you can look forward to on my page:

How about some real nifty web Links, huh?? I know you want
that!! Oh, yeah!!
I would just like for you to keep in mind that my other webpages
are in varying degrees of crappiness, so try not puke and please
ignore the annoying pop-ups.
I have to plug an internet game that I have been hooked on since March
1999. It's called the Hollywood Stock
Exchange and functions kind of like stock games except for one really
important difference: they trade shares in movies and moviestars. Share
prices are contingent on box office earnings both for the opening weekend
and 28 days after release. It's pretty cool if you stick with it. My
portfolio is around $176 million and only 1400 people are better than me
out of almost 850,000. You should definately check it out.
Here are some helpful links to guide you on your way: The Hollywood Stock and Brokerage Resource
Page has box office predictions as well as updated information
regarding movies and their stars Visit The Trades have delist
estimates in their Closest to the Pin competition as well as other
quality information The Numbers have delist
estimates
and Starbond information vital to making a pile of money The Hollywood Stock Journal has an
excellent
resource for Starbond adjustments The Hollywood-Hostel has new
player guides to help you out The Box Office Guru has box
office predictions updated every Thursday, Saturday, Sunday and
Monday.
That's it. Those are the big fan sites to hit in order to make a ton of
cash. Good luck!
Another internet game that I began to get involved in September 2001 is MovieBoss. This game puts you in
charge of a virtual movie theater and your job is to make the most money.
How, you ask? Well, you must book the top movies with the highest Per
Screen Average (PSA=MOVIE's boxoffice gross/# screens movie is playing
in). I'm not doing too bad, but it is slow going trying to amass a
fortune, but the message boards are fun to hang out in. Currently I have 3
theaters and I'm looking to expand to 4. Once you get the hang of it,
it's pretty fun. Hope someone stops by.
Here's some of my friend's stuff: Check them out. (Beware, they haven't
updated their pages in a lifetime.)

I'd copyright this hunk of junk, but I don't care if you rip off stuff
from here. Just don't tell anybody that I took their stuff, okay?
