Daniel is the only child of Alan
Radcliffe, a literary agent with International Creative Management, and
Marcia Gresham, a casting agent. He has wanted to act since he was 5 years
old and first appeared on our screens in December 1999 when he played the
young David Copperfield in BBC television's production of David
Copperfield.
On February 2002, Daniel was nominated
for and won Best Newcomer at the Variety Club Awards and he also received
the Sir James Carreras Award for Outstanding New Talent for his role in
Harry Potter at The Variety Club Showbusiness Awards 2002.
