The primary purpose of this site is to introduce a remarkable man to a new generation. We feel that an even greater tragedy than Leslie Howard's untimely death would be that he should be forgotten. His legacy, a treasure of wonderful films, is indeed timeless, and his charm and charisma are every bit as enchanting today as they were nearly sixty years ago.
Leslie Howard wasn't only a talented performer, but a tireless patriot on behalf of the Allied Cause in the First and Second World Wars. He gave his life for the cause of democracy and freedom by speaking out against the evils and atrocities of the Nazis.
