January 1983, saw the departure of Iron Maiden's drummer for 3 records, Clive Burr. Replacing him was Nicko McBrain, who's real name is Micheal Henry. Formerly of the band Trust, as well as, The Pat Travers Band, Nicko had injected the greastest drum rhythms to hit an Iron Maiden record at the time. That record would go on to be called Piece Of Mind. Recorded in March & April of 1983 in Nassau, Bahamas, & released on April 28, 1983, it would go on to be one of Maiden's most classic records. Classic songs to come from that record included, Revelations, Flight Of Icarus, & The Trooper. Flight Of Icarus, & The Trooper were the 2 singles that came from Piece Of Mind. Band lineup during that record was Bruce Dickinson (vocals), Steve Harris (bass) Dave Murray (guitar), Adrian Smith (guitar), & Nicko McBrain (drums). May 2, 1983, unleashed the World Piece Tour, spanning 140 tour dates, playing to audiences in Europe, USA, & Canada. The last show was in Dortmund, on December 18, 1983, & was televised on TV in Europe.
