What is A Cool Song From a Certain Year?

A Cool Song From a Certain Year orginally started out as a special way to end my radio show at WIMC/WCVL Radio in Crawfordsville,Indiana. Originally the Hot AC radio station would sign off the air at 12am. On Friday January 1,1999,the first Cool Song From a Certain Year premired. Originally I chose a Song From the 1980's. In March of 1999 I extended the year range from 1975 to 1995. Currently I choose a song from any year.

What exactly is this page about?

This page features Real Audio of songs that I feel are really cool. Some of the songs are #1 hits,while others are rare cult classics. The songs are ALWAYS picked by myself and reflect my taste and interest in music. Formats such as Metal or Rap will most likely not be chosen. I don't judge songs by format however. If a song sounds cool,it will be chosen. Yes,most of the songs are energy tunes. This doesn't rule out ballad songs.

How's Does This Work?

I will choose one song per day. Each Real Audio recording will contain radio style prep by myself. Each segment should last no more than about 10 minutes. All except maybe or two recording will be generic with no radio logos.
