Hello, here we are! July 19, 1998Let me introduce you to my person - well, where do I have to start? Nothing is more easy than that - we have to start on July 16, 1967 (Sunday!) - on my birthday.
I completed the family. Father, Mother, four sisters and me! Unfortunately my father died one and a half year later by a heartattack - so I was left with five women!
In my childhood the cemetary, where my father was buried, was my playground. Ya see, I got early in contact with the other side. It seems, that this experience was the reason why I'm interested in things like Gothic, Dark Romantic, Cemetaries, Reincarnation, Vampires and things like that.
Bad experiences with real humans and I decided to live a live in (nearly) total isolation. No friends in real life, but a lovely place in my fantasy where I loved to live.I was a really shy guy in those days and the sound of music was the key to my fantasy world.
I closed my eyes, listened to the music and the real world happened without me. But, the world is cruel and the world wanted me to be a part of their society. What should I do? I created an outfit that was not usual in that society, I coloured my hair, I cut my hair in an unusual way, I was dressed in black and silver jewelry. I become a Gothic with Punk-Attitude! An individual!
I accepted some of their rules. I went to some schools and in 1987 I started a training to become a businessman (!). But I never accepted their dress-codes.
Finally, in 1989 I become a member of the Ariola Central European Copyright Department, which is a part of the Bertelsmann Music Group (BMG) .
We are responsible that the authors and composers of songs can participate on the sales of their ideas.
If you are an composer/author and if you think that you can earn money with your ideas, you should visit the site of the German Copyright Society GEMA . Non-european should visit the sites of BMI or ASCAP . These societies take care that you get your claim for your ideas. In 1990 I discovered an interesting music-magazine named Zillo . A magazine about Independent-music - my music! I sent them a review and become a free-lancer for them. Since 1990 I'm writing for Zillo and I still like it!
If ya wanna read some of my articles (only in German) you should visit this sites: Rammstein ,
Die Skeptiker , Mittageisen .Furthermore I spoke with Lacrimosa , Nena , The Bates (we had lots of fun during the making of their video "Hello" in Stockholm), Die Toten Hosen and many others.
Hopefully I'll meet one day people like Meredith Brooks , Alanis Morrissette or Sheryl Crow . I like their music so much!
Ya see, I have a wide range of music I like to listen too. Don't accept everything - but be tolerant as much as you can be!
In 1994 I got the oppurtunity to be DJ in the club PC69 . I spent a lot of my time there as a guest - ya can imagine how happy I was when I got that chance. I made some Classics Of Independent Parties, some School Parties and still I'm doing memorial parties for the music of the 80ies, which are very successful.
As you can see - I belive that there is life before death. I'm having a happy relationship with my girlfriend Natascha, we are living together in a three room flat in Bielefeld and are a little family together with our four crazy cockatiels.
Life must go on - and I'm part of it!
Yours
Frank Rummeleit
