AKD's Guide To

The Definitive Collection

In 1997, this superb compilation of most of the best tracks from the career of The Alan Parsons Project was assembled. I purchased my copy in early 1998. I was totally amazed by four constituent elements of this superb musical collage: 1. The outstanding vocalists and the variety of their ranges. 2. The level of musicianship employed by each of the support musicians. 3. The level of intelligence with respect to the lyrics. 4. The integration with the musical and orchestral accompaniment on most of the songs! Showcasing most of the best tracks from this "project," this cd compilation is an absolute pleasure to listen to over and over again. In fact, as of this writing, this is the cd that I am presently listening to (in its entirety)!

1.SiriusEye In The Sky1:57One of my favorite instrumentals by The Alan Parsons Project.
