Hi! Welcome to my homepage!
Of all of the art-rock groups,
the music of Kansas represents my earliest introduction to this
fascinating realm of music! In their early incarnation, Kansas consisted
of 6 members: Robby Steinhardt-a classically trained violinist and vocalist who had
played with European symphony orchestras; Steve Walsh- a multi-talented instrumentalist,
songwriter and vocalist who gave Kansas their voice; Kerry Livgren- another multi-talented
keyboardist, guitarist and songwriter who wrote many of Kansas' most beautiful songs; Dave
Hope- a bass guitarist, Phil Ehart- a drummer and percussionist and Rich Williams- a guitarist.
Each of these musicians created a very impressive version of American art-rock!
