Keys To Ascension is the first part of 2 live album/studio albums recorded in 1996. This represents Yes' best material to date! Keys resurrects the magnificence of Tales with "The Revealing Science Of God!" Also, it resurrects Going For The One with a magnificent version of Awaken! Also, the version of Onward is much better than that of Tormato! Also included is "Siberian Khatru" from Close To The Edge and "Roundabout" from Fragile and "Starship Trooper" from The Yes Album! Additionally, a new version of Paul Simon's America, which was previously released on Yesterdays! The two new live tracks, "Be The One" and "That, That Is" are also great, very reminiscent of Tales!

1.SIBERIAN KHATRU10:16A superb work! Here, this song sounds even better than on the Yessongs version!
2.THE REVEALING SCIENCE OF GOD20:32Another superb work of craftsmanship. This song, not unlike the rest of Tales takes you to a totally different dimension.
3.AMERICA10:28An even better version than the one from Yesterdays.
4.ONWARD5:48Talk about superb! This version of "Onward" is far superior to the original from Tormato!
5.AWAKEN18:33My favorite Yes song,(second only to Xanadu) done as a superb live version! Every time that I listen to this song I feel inspired to create something! In fact, I am presently working on a painting which will be added to this site within the next month- inspired by "Awaken!"

Disc 2

Track No.Song TitleTrack TimingComments
1.ROUNDABOUT8:30A superb live version, far better than the Yessongs, or Classic Yes versions. "Roundabout" was the first Yes song that I heard back in June, 1981. I originally thought that it was a composition by Rush.
2.STARSHIP TROOPER13:05When I first started listening to fm radio on the weekends, I would always hear this song played at after midnight! This version is superb, a little different from the classic version heard on Yessongs
3.BE THE ONE9:50This song represents the classic version of Yes, with the Anderson/Squire composition "THE ONE" and the Steve Howe "SKATES"
4.THAT, THAT IS19:14A new epic work by Yes, consisting of the brilliant guitar work on the introductory piece-"TOGETHERNESS" by Steve Howe, continuing with the Anderson/Squire workout-"CROSSFIRE," the short Anderson/Howe work-"THE GIVING THINGS," the brilliant Anderson work-"THAT IS," the beautiful Anderson/White composition-"ALL IN ALL," and the other beautiful Anderson/Howe/White composition-"HOW DID HEAVEN BEGIN," before culminating in the Anderson/Squire composition-"AGREE TO AGREE"

In tune
