The Police
One of the foremost "new wave" groups, The Police incorporated reggae and
ska rhythms into their repertoire, creating danceable and intelligent music! Consisting of an
outstanding songwriter Sting who was also a bass guitarist and composer of
jazzy type songs, in addition to a lyricist; Stewart Copeland who was once a member of the art-rock band
Curved Air and a phenomenal percussionist and Andy Summers: a guitarist who also worked with
several other musicians; The Police were a very adventurous and intelligent rock group, who
disbanded due to their interests in pursuing other activities!

This album features: "Message In A Bottle" and "Walking On The Moon" which can be found on Singles
This album features: "De Do Do Do, de Da Da Da"
and "Don't Stand So Close To Me" which can also be found on
Classics.
This album contains:"Spirits In The Invisible World," "Every Little Thing She Does Is Magic" and "Invisible Sun" which can also be found on: Every Breath You Take: The Singles.
The Police's final album, Synchronicity contained several great songs, including: "King Of Pain," "Wrapped Around Your Finger" and "Every Breath You Take" which can also be found
on Every Breath You Take: The Singles and
Classics. Also this cd contains: "Tea In The Sahara," "Synchronicity," "Synchronicity II" and the very annoying "Mother!"
The Compilations
A fantastic set of singles from The Police's career, including: "De Do Do Do, de Da Da Da" from Zenyatta Mondattta, "Invisible Sun" from Machine and "Wrapped Around Your Finger" from Synchronicity!
An even better compilation than its predecessor, Classics includes the original version of "Don't Stand So Close To Me" from Zenyatta Mondatta!
