After leaving The Police; Sting embarked on
a successful solo career, his albums reflect more than a hint of jazz influence and his songs are
melodic and interesting. With the support of various famous session musicians, each album reflects
a different style.
Sting's debut album featured several great songs, including: "Fortress Around Your Heart," "If You Love Somebody (Set Them Free)" and "Russians."
This album featured: "Englishman In New York," "We'll Be Together," "They Dance Alone (Gueca Solo)" and "Fragile."
This album featured: "All This Time" which can also be found on Fields.
Ten Summoner's Tales is quite an improvement over The Soul Cages, featuring: "Fields Of Gold" and
"If I Ever Lose My Faith In You" which can also be found on Fields Of Gold: The Best Of Sting.
A magnificent collection of Sting's best work, this album features most of his
hit songs, including: "Russians" from Dream, "They Dance Alone (Gueca Solo)" from Sun, "All This Time" from
Cages and "If I Ever Lose My Faith In You" from Ten Summoner's Tales.
