Hi! Welcome to my homepage!
Styx has been denied critical acclaim. However, Styx had been consistent in creating interesting American art rock albums. Beginning with their early work and progressing towards The Grand Illusion. Styx had always created many impressive hits. The cover artwork for many of their albums are very surrealistic, almost Magrittesque.
Middle period albums
Styx's most impressive concept album contains: "Fooling Yourself," "Man In The Wilderness," "Castle Walls," "The Grand Illusion,"
"Come Sail Away," "Superstars" and "Miss America."
Styx's second impressive album which contains: "Renegade," "Queen Of Spades," "Sing For A Day" and "Blue Collar Man (Long Nights)."
Sometime in the distant past, I owned a copy of this album. I just do not remember it that much!
Styx's final great album contains:"Nothing Ever Goes As Planned," "Too Much Time On My Hands" and "Snowblind."
Sometime in the distant past, I owned a copy of this album. I just do not want to remember it that much!
A pretty good live album which contains some of "Styx's other hits!"
I do not own it yet!
I do not own it yet!
A thoroughly impressive presentation of Styx's best work! Containing: "Suite Madame Blue" from Equinox, "Crystal Ball" from Crystal Ball, among others!
Although "Snowblind," "Boat On A River" and "Superstars" are featured on this compilation, many of the other songs could have been replaced with such masterpieces as: "Man In The Wilderness" or "Castle Walls" from Illusion.
