AKD's Supertramp Index page

Supertramp was a rock band which was originally financed by a Dutch millionaire. The songs were written by: Rick Davis-a vocalist, keyboard player and harmonica player and Roger Hodgson- a vocalist, guitarist and pianist. The other members of the band include: John Anthony Helliwell- a saxophonist, clarinetist and other woodwind player, Dougie Thomson- a bass guitarist and Bob C. Benberg- a drummer and percussionist. Supertramp's sound is reminiscent of a cross between carnival music and intelligent "art rock." Their best albums contain many songs with quite a few melodic hooks.
