This is a speech I made up about the A.F.A that I had to read to the class:

My monologue is on the A.F.A. Who is the A.F.A? The name means the American Family Assosiation. These people who belong to the assosation think they are doing somthing good for America, but in fact they are taking away the freedom of speach by trying to kill Marilyn Manson and boycott Disney. The reason they want to boycott Disney is because of the 40% homosexual employees.
Disney supports ABC’s Ellen, and the A.F.A stated that when you take your family out to see the Hunchback of Notre Dame you are paying for the celebration of homosexualtiy, through such things as ABC’s Ellen, since Disney owns ABC.
I don’t think this right. Just because some employees have different sexual preferences doesn’t mean that you should boycott the company that happens to make a lot of your little brother’s and/or sister’s favorite movies. This is really the worst possible reason I could think of to boycott Disney. The only reason that would cause me to boycott Disney, would be if they had snuck some sort of weird erotic scenes into some cute plush bunny movie like Bambi, or Alice in Wonderland.
This group of people seems, to me anyways, to be saying “Hey discrimination is o.k.!” And to me THAT’S NOT RIGHT.
These people have gone to extremes to try to kill the controversial Rev. Marilyn Manson, and because of that, a lot of people think they are doing God’s work, but what they are really doing is saying “ We have Freedom of Speech and you don’t “.
Mr. Manson has to walk around with bodyguards who have had the same traing as the president’s bodyguards.
A lot of people have misconceptions about this band. They aren’t trying to force Satanism onto their fans, they are just saying that you shold believe in yourself and if it brings you closer, or drives you away from Christianity than it’s fine. Just as long as you believe in yourself. They also say that plastic beauty isn’t true beauty, someone with flaws is more beautiful than someome without them.
