James Hetfeild's Speed Picking Technique

So, you think your a master at speed picking? You think you can
beat Jaymz in a picking contest? I think not. But, if you would
like to learn how he makes his guitar gallop like a horse, then
read on....

It really isn't as hard as it sounds. For the main riff to
"Battery" (for example) think of the pattern: Down, (quick
pause) Down, Up, Down, (quick pause) Down, Up, Down, (quick
pause) Down, Up, Down, etc.

                    U=Up          D=Down
