Blue Corridor was started by Joseph and myself as a late-night, after work project one lazy summer. Suzanne and Melissa soon got involved as well with Suzanne's exquisite vocals and Melissa's unrelenting percussion attack. Our practices were at Saturdays at midnight in the basement (later they were scheduled to the more reasonable Sunday afternoons). We recorded recorded a few songs on a rugged old 4-track (our first recording which launched Suzanne's place in the band was recorded with Dean Owens of the Winter Chapter) and we offered up a couple snippets of practice tapes on Joseph's old blue corridor site. After alot of practices, fun trips to the beach, drives into the mountains, and visits to coffee society, we folded. There were never any rock star tantrums or blow-ups in the studio, we just decided that blue corridor had run it's course. we had shared a fun musical experience and each of us would take what we could from it and move onward.
