This page is totally dedicated to the outstanding musicians that we have had a chance to play with over the years.
Timeline
Winter 1996- Three months after Lisa bought her first guitar, she started a band with her best friend Cindy. They quickly recruited Troy to play bass for them. Since Cindy and Lisa were such "Beatle" lovers, they decided on the band name "The BeatLets." Cindy and Lisa switched off on guitar, vocals, & drums.
Spring 1997- The band decided to get a "real" drummer and so they asked Lisa's Aunt Laurie to join. "The BeatLets continued to play mostly Beatles cover songs with a few originals.
Fall 1997- After we changed our name to "In Sync" (before we had ever heard of n'sync), Cindy quit the band.
Patrick joined on guitar. We decided to change our name, but couldn't come up with one we all agreed upon.
Spring 1998- Patrick decided it would be best to quit because of conflicting styles and so Laurie, Lisa, & Troy were in search of another guitarist. They found Lydia. Before the band had a chance to play a gig with Lydia, the band broke up.
Fall 1998- Lisa decided to try again. So she called Laurie back up and Kama joined the band on guitar. Kama had a friend named Amy who was a vocalist who also joined the band. They all talked Troy to come back and play bass. Deep Blue Heaven was decided upon for a band name.
Summer 1999- Amy quit the band and was replaced by vocalist Teresa .
Winter 1999- Recorded first CD titled "Sweet Obsession". Kama gave the CD to a man she met after a Steve Vai concert. He claimed to be a sound engineer for Steve, but was just helping him out by driving the equipment on tour.
Spring 2000- Deep Blue Heaven was invited to Steve Vai's studio in Hollywood, CA to record a demo to be shopped to various record companies.
Summer 2000- Kama quit to pursue other interests.
Fall 2000- We shortened our name to DBH and recorded our second CD simply titled "DBH".
Winter 2000- Teresa and Laurie both quit because of conflicting musical styles.
