Oasis frontman Liam Gallagher reportedly stands charged with assault after a fan told Australian police that the singer headbutted him breaking his nose.
Reuters news service reports that Gallagher was charged by police in Brisbane, Australia on Friday after a British fan told police that he was assaulted outside of the band's Brisbane hotel on Thursday. Reuters reports that Gallagher was charged with assault occasioning bodily harm and was released on the equivalent of $6,600 U.S. bail.
The singer has not yet officially entered a plea in the case, but his lawyer told Reuters that he would be pleading not guilty. Gallagher's next court date in the matter will arrive on June 9.
