LIAM GALLAGHER has secretly recorded a tribute to his stepson James with Ocean Colour Scene guitarist Steve Cradock.
The un-named track is among a number of songs the Oasis singer has recently written and may make it onto the next Oasis album.
Steve Cradock said: "It's a beautiful tune and very emotional. In the song, Liam talks about how James has changed his life. He really put his heart and soul into it and said he had wanted to record it for a long time."
Oasis' spokesman confirmed that Liam had written the tribute to five-year-old James, whose father Simple Minds singer Jim Kerr was previously married to Liam's wife Patsy Kensit. The spokesman added: "It's impossible to say whether or not they (Liam's songs) will end up on the Oasis record at this stage, but the one thing we can say is that he is writing a lot more songs at the moment. And they're good."
Liam previously helped to write The Seahorses' 'Love Me Or Leave Me', which was a hit last September.
