Oasis's second single off the new album Be Here Now, has hit the 2nd position on the charts in its first week. Unfortunately it fell in behind Candle In The Wind by Elton John. Normally Stand By Me would have hit #1, but due to the popularity of Candle In The Wind it had to take 2nd. Stand By me was realeased on Sept 22.
