* Noon to 1 PM = Bluegrass & Old-Time. I admit that I'm biased towards traditional pickin', manic breakdowns and dance tunes. But I do play cool ballads, too. I'm much more into Old-Time traditions these days and I try to devote a whole set to June Appal Records/Smithsonian Folkways type material. Radio at its foot-stompin' best!
* 1 to 2 PM = Punkrock... and we ain't talkin' 90s mall punk. I try to focus on gritty, cider-swilling rock and roll that has something to sing about other than girls, their shoes, and skateboards. What other show dares to play Yellow Scab, Carl Perkins, & Enemy Soil in the same set? From punk to garage to rockabilly and cowpunk. Yee haw!
